Trainer & CEO

Clint Desrosiers

I am one of the co-founders and trainers at Canadian Gun Dogs. My passion for dogs developed at a very young age as my parents breed, raised and trained Boxers. I have dedicated many years to developing my training abilities. I am very grateful for all the great mentors and trainers I have had the privilege to learn from along my journey.

I am very excited to pass forward and share my acquired knowledge and skills with you. My passion for training is fueled by the gratification I get when you and your furry partner, learn, develop, and achieve your goals together!

Trainer & Operation Manager

Kaitlyn Desrosiers

I am one of the co-founders and trainers at Canadian Gun Dogs. I've had a passion for working animals since I was a young girl and began my dog training journey at the age of 16. Now I am a Certified Advanced Canine Training Professional with the Animal Behaviour Institute. I've spent lots of time mentoring and learning from great dog trainers/handlers. All dogs that come through our program become family and I have dedicated many years to developing and sharing our training program with both family pets and gun dogs. My goal is to ensure both you and your pet go home happy and well trained!

Our story

We are a family owned and operated training/breeding business located 20 minutes West of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Our Kennel and training facilities are located on our home acreage near the North Saskatchewan River. Our location and property arrangement will provide you and your pet or working dog a fun, safe, enjoyable place to train, learn, and grow!

From generation to generation dogs have held a high place in our hearts. Our passion for breeding and training dogs began with the generation before where breeding and training Boxers was a part of every day life. We have owned and trained many breeds of dogs, and are currently on the journey of breeding Pudelpointers and training Versatile hunting dogs.

Our vision and goals are to share our knowledge and transfer our skills to our fellow dog enthusiasts and their four legged partners. Whether your goals are to simply advance your cooperative relationship with your dog by learning basic and / or advanced obedience, or refining and honing their natural abilities; we have something to offer you!
